Haas MDC-500

The MDC-500 has a generous work cube of 508 x 356 x 508 mm (xyz) and features a 7500-rpm, 40-taper spindle (10K and 15K spindles are optional). Powered by a 20-hp vector drive system, the spindle has plenty of torque for milling, as well as the speed necessary for high-speed machining operations. High-pitch ballscrews and high-torque servos on all axes provide rapids to 1000 ipm to reduce cycle times, and a side-mount tool changer (24+1 tools) swaps tools in just 2.2 seconds.

Haas VF-3

The Haas VF-3 vertical machining centre has 1016 x 508 x 635 mm xyz travel. The Haas VF-3 is a rugged, medium-sized VMC that yields full reliability and accuracy in a moderately-sized machine. The VF-3 has a 40-taper cartridge spindle driven by a 30 hp vector Dual-Drive (Y-Delta) drive. The VF-3 produces either 75 ft-lb of torque at a low 1400 rpm, or 250 ft-lb at 450 rpm with the optional 2-speed gearbox — and will also run up to 8,100 rpm in 1.2 seconds for finishing aluminium.

Haas VF-4

Haas Automation’s VF-4 vertical machining centre has 1,270 x 508 x 635 mm xyz travel. The Haas VF-4 is a rugged, medium-sized VMC that yields full reliability and accuracy in a moderately-sized machine. The VF-4 has a 40-taper cartridge spindle driven by a 30 hp vector Dual-Drive (Y-Delta) drive. The VF-4 produces either 75 ft-lb of torque at a low 1,200 rpm, or 250 ft-lb at 450 rpm with the optional 2-speed gearbox – and will also run up to 8,100 rpm in 1.2 seconds for finishing aluminium.

Haas Mini Mill 2

The Mini Mill 2 is a versatile CNC machining center with all the attractive features of the original Haas Mini Mill, but with extended travels of 508 x 405 x 356 mm (xyz) – a 100 mm increase on each axis. For shops needing more tools, the Mini Mill 2 has options for either a 20-pocket carousel tool changer or a 24+1 tool side-mount.

Haas Super Mini Mill

The Super Mini Mill takes up little shop floor space yet provides a generous work envelope of 16″ x 12″ x 10″. It comes standard with a 10,000-rpm spindle, 30.5m/min rapids, 1 MB of program memory and a high-speed tool changer.

The Super Mini Mill features a 15-hp vector drive spindle that accepts standard 40-taper tooling. With cutting feedrates up to 21.2m/min, 30.5m/min rapids and 2.5-second tool changes, cycle times on the Super Mini Mill are kept to a minimum. The 914 x 305mm table provides plenty of room for fixturing, rotary tables or indexing units.

Haas ST-10 CNC Turning Centre

Haas Automation’s ST-10 takes up very little floor space, yet provides a generous 356 mm turning diameter, 356 mm turning length and a 413 mm swing over the front apron. The ST-10 comes standard with a 6″ (165 mm) hydraulic chuck and a 12-position bolt-on tool turret. A 15-hp (peak) vector drive spindle provides speeds to 6,000 rpm for high surface feedrates, and an A2-5 spindle nose accepts bar stock up to 45.7 mm.

Haas ST-20 CNC Turning Centre

The ST-20 is the latest Haas high-performance turning centre – designed to provide heavy cutting ability, extreme rigidity and high thermal stability. It has a maximum cutting capacity of 15″ x 20.5″ (381 x 521 mm), with maximum swings of 31.75″ (806 mm) over the front apron and 20.75″ (527 mm) over the cross slide. The standard 20 hp (14.9 kW) spindle yields 140 ft-lb (190 Nm) of torque at 2000 rpm, and spins to 4000 rpm. The A2-6 spindle nose is equipped with a 8.3″ (210 mm) hydraulic 3-jaw chuck, and a 12-station bolt-on style tool turret is standard. High productivity options for the ST-20 include a belt-type chip conveyor, hydraulic tailstock, automatic tool probe, live tooling with C axis, automatic parts catcher, high-pressure coolant systems and much more.

Haas TL-2 CNC Toolroom Lathe

With a functional range from manual turning to full CNC, the Haas TL-2 Toolroom Lathe features a proprietary conversational operating system that makes cutting parts and creating part programs nearly effortless.
The TL-2 operates in four modes. In all modes, the Haas control provides extremely accurate digital read-out (DRO) of position, displayed to 0.0005″ when using the manual handwheels or to 0.0001″ when using the electronic jog handle. Electronic soft stops may be set to limit the travel of the lathe.
